The service enables cultural heritage institutions to perform in their core business systems:
Automated calculation of the copyright status of culture heritage objects (CHOs) and automated calculation of the term of protection of rights of related rights subjects;
Copyright management of digital objects (DOs):
- Automated calculation of DO copyright status;
- DO legal availability determination;
- DO license-based availability determination;
- DO licensing management.
Service provision process:
In the event of system malfunctions, applications can be submitted to the Unified Culture Ministry ICT Support Portal https://atbalsts.kultura.lv. On the Unified Culture Ministry ICT Support Portal, select the appropriate thematic group and fill out the appropriate application form.
Information for service applicants and recipients:
An agreement must be concluded for the integration of new core business systems of cultural heritage institutions with the Copyright Management and Licensing System APLIS.
