The service for museums and other persons who own or possess objects from the National Museum Collection ensures:
- Operation of the National Museum Collection Joint Catalogue;
- Entry of descriptions of objects and collections from the National Museum Collection, data storage and processing;
- Museum collection management;
- Management of the National Museum Collection object inventory documentation, item inventory, preparation of documentation and retrieval of data on activities performed in the form of reports;
- Ability to add related information and images of digitized objects
- Publish data on objects and collections in the collection, make digital objects public.
Service provision process:
Museums and other persons who own or possess items from the National Museum Collection shall, within one month of the decision to accredit the museum or include a private collection or individual museum items in the National Museum Collection, conclude an agreement with the Culture Information Systems Centre for the use of the system. After concluding the aforementioned agreement, a user account is created in the work environment for museums and other persons who own or possess items from the National Museum Collection.
In the event of malfunctions in the National Museum Collection Union Catalogue, applications can be submitted to the ICT Support Portal of the Unified Ministry of Culture https://atbalsts.kultura.lv. On the ICT Support Portal of the Unified Ministry of Culture, the appropriate thematic group must be selected and the appropriate application form must be filled out.
