Providing ALEPH library system data processing for libraries

The service for libraries ensures:

1. the operation of the joint electronic library catalogue;
2. the input, storage and processing of library collection data;
3. the operation of local libraries' databases;
4. the operation of the joint library readers' catalogue;
5. the operation of the joint catalogue and database resource finder.

Service provision process:
The use of the library information system ALEPH500 is provided on the basis of a contract with the Culture Information Systems Centre, the use of the system requires an annual maintenance fee.
In the event of malfunctions in the state-level library catalog (ALEPH), applications can be submitted to the unified ICT Support Portal of the Ministry of Culture https://atbalsts.kultura.lv. On the unified ICT Support Portal of the Ministry of Culture, an appropriate thematic group must be selected and the appropriate application form must be filled out.
